WHO WE ARE
Bluebird Soccer Academy is a Volunteer-based, charitable sports team established by refugee youth on August 2018 in Uganda.
Bluebird Soccer Academy is committed to its mission of restoring hope among the needy children in Sub-Saharan Africa by fully supporting their soccer talents and skills while providing them with access to quality and better education. The blues family also have a rescue program which majorly focuses on identifying total Vulnerable unaccompanied orphans in the team and the community in order to help them get placed in good homes.
Our sports team is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children living in absolute poverty and extremely dangerous condition that are difficult to survive in. We believe that every child has an opportunity to become a champion, achieve their dreams and pursue their goals to the fullest if they are taken care of and supported in the process. This has given us confidence to maintain a strong relationship with the children we support and help in the areas of need believing that they are a strong pillar in shaping of a better tomorrow.
We pay much attention to children who have suffered from violence, trauma and loss of parents and aspire to support and sustain their living in the best way we can. We also recognize the influence of functional education for the children as a critical tool of healing conflict and creating social consistency in the communities.
“To enrich lives of young children who will transform to be socially responsible leaders in the communities they live”.
We seek to provide children with access to quality education as they acquire strong mentorship programs that will help them improve on their life styles, soccer talent and skills while creating a self-reliant community.
“Every child can be a champion if helped to achieve their dreams”
